the unexpected cat

On my 18th birthday, I received a box as present. When I opened the box and for my surprise saw it was a cat I was impressed. My mother used to refuse point blank which related to animals inside the house. It was a beautiful white cat and he was sprawled in the box because he couldn’t stand up. He used to make people fall for him. A few days later we found that the cat had an erratic behavior. In other words: He would make us trip over him and he would start clutching us for attention. I was planning to not giving him what he wanted, but has time passed by he started meowing. At the beginning I did not care because he rarely meowed, but after a while he started meowing at night and would not let us sleep. I was on the verge of a breakdown of nerves. I started giving him attention to see if he would stop. But to my deception he didn't stop, and he would wake up us every night. Only 6 months after he stopped and started sleeping during the night.

  2. I know how you feel my cat was like that too, so I can relate to your story. I think that you should be more focused when you write because in some sentences there are words that don't need to be there like in the sentence:
"When I opened the box and for my surprise saw it was a cat I was impressed."
It would be better if it was:
"For my surprise, when I opened the box I saw a cat. I was impressed!"
