The days of a Football Player

My biggest passion is football. When I was a little kid, the dream of becoming a Football player began to grow on me.

When I was 7 years old, I started to play in the local club of my town, named “Clube Desportivo do Montijo”. I was so little and skinny running after the ball. I had many football players as idols but the one I liked the most and identified myself was David Beckham.

When I was 10 years old I left the club because I had a discussion with my couch. It was one of the saddest days of my life. Life goes on and I started to play in the streets with some friends and people that I met by playing in the streets.

I made lots of new friends, some of them are really close friends until now. In 2006 I started to play again in the same club but other coach. It was a good year but, not good as I expected...

The club was really poor and the president had to end up with it.

The day that they ended up the club, they have made a new one, “Clube OlĂmpico do Montijo”. In that same year of the new club our team were champion with only one defeat. What a good season...

When I was 17 years old, the coach of the head team talked to me to join it. I was one of the newest players in the team. I was really really happy, but one day while we were training, I really had a bad injury on my ankle. Unfortunately I stopped playing...

Now that I am in university I have less time to play football, so it’s not in my plans, unfortunately...

After all, Football as made me the person I am today.

When you play with persons that are older than you, they teach you every day about all kind of stuffs, they are like “teachers of life”, and that is Football too.
