The Chosen Words:
Plastic surgery, known as, categorically denied, had planned to, the scene of the crime, deception, strictly speaking, in other words, a huge responsibility.
The Scene of the Crime
When the central police station called me to visit the scene of the crime the only information that I had was based on a murder as a consequence of failed plastic surgery.
At the scene of the crime I could see that the suspect had planned to cut the face of the victim in many fragments in other words, many slices. After seeing the victim stretched on the floor one of my assistants came up to me and said the suspect was at the central police station, I then decided to go there to interrogate him in order to discover and also understand what his motivation, and his frustrations were.
As soon as I arrived at the station, someone told me: “Be careful, this guy is nuts!”
Looking through the mirror I could see his square face, his long arms, his blond hair. He looked ordinary, apparently a normal doctor. Then I decided to talk to him.
At the beginning of the conversation he was calm except when I asked if he had had any connection to the murder, I was accusing him. His face charged expression. He categorically denied his guilty even before I finished my question. After denying he was strictly speaking about many different subjects, this kind of behaviour is known as an auto protection, which happens when someone is too desperate and incapable of keeping thought under control.
After listening to him I had the proof of my deception. He took a gun from his leg and pulled the trigger, taking his life. That moment was terrible for my career and since then I consider that I have a huge responsibility for the failure of this case, even thought I realise that I could not have done anything to prevent it.
