Home Sweet Home

When you're a teenager and you start to get freedom to do what you want, you start by going out more at night. Then you begin sleeping over at your friends houses. But you always end, the other day, at your home.
Your mind wants to go forward, and you think of what you want to do in the future. You remember that you are in you are in your last year of high school. So, that means you're going to college soon. There are lots of possibilities which you can choose. You research trough days and nights because of your excitement. On your research you find programs to go to: America, Asia and Australia.
It would be amazing to go to another country. And as you get enthusiastic, you talk to your parents about the subject, and they say that it's impossible to go to another country to study, because they can't afford such luxuries.
You get disappointed, but there's always Portugal and you can go to a university far away from your home.
You apply to universities all over the country, from south to north. Your excitement starts to change to another feeling, which is anxiety. You think that it's just because you're waiting for the results of the application. But then you realize that you are scared of leaving home.
Even thought, you won't tell your feelings to anyone. Because you really want to go to other place.
Without noticing it, you start giving hugs more than usual to your mother. And you nag your brother twice.
On the day that the results are out. You go to a party with your closest friends. When its midnight you go to the internet and you see that you've been placed in Lisbon. You get extremely happy but at the same time sad. But because you are with your friends, you put the sad feeling aside. You get drunk and forget completely that the next day you have to go to Lisbon.

You wake up, and you go home. Your mother appears in front of you screaming happily, but you have such an headache that you can't even tell your mother to speak more quietly.
You go to sleep, and after 3 hours your mother wakes you up, saying that we need to catch the train you're so tired that you sleep the whole trip to Lisbon.

You get to know the college, and your mother goes back to your home town. You feel as if you were a molecule in Lisbon. Everything is different. The people are colder, and you have to keep up with them.

You go home to spend your first weekend, since you went to Lisbon. Ant it's the best feeling you've ever had. It is better than when you went with your parents to "Bracalândia" the amusement park. The comfortable and warm feeling of your home. There's no place like home, don't you agree?
