A STORY-TELLER TELLING HER OWN STORY

I was born and I grew up in a nice city called Setúbal where everyone knows each other. There are not a lot of places to go, but it’s still nice to be there, mostly in the summer time: there are plenty of amazing beaches, where the sea is really clear and where we can have a great time.

As a first memory, I remember being on the top of a horse. I began to be a rider really young, at the age of 3. This is my passion, and I’ve done it for 9 or 10 years. Even today, when I see a horse, I get really excited. That sport was introduced to me by my father, who is a great rider.

In my family, I have two sisters, who are 13 and 17 years-old. I protect them with all my heart; we sometimes have fights, but I’ll never, ever, leave them. I also have two grandmothers who are an important part of my family. My parents have the most important role in my family story: they divorced when I was 10 years-old. It was a great shock to me and I’ll never forget it. Their divorce changed my vision about everything: love, friendship, family… Now, I’m a little “allergic” to family and friendship issues, because my family had a lot of problems and it made me grow up inside. That was, without a doubt, the worst low in my life.

But there are always good things: I’ve travelled a lot, and that makes me really happy; I’ve always had total support from my family in everything; I’ve always had great friends around who gave me moments of fun an true friendship; and, above all, I’ve always been a good student, and I’ve always worked without giving up to reach what I wanted, and that’s what allows me to be, at this moment, in the course that I’ve always wished.
